A COMPARISON OF THE U.N.'s PEACE PLAN
AND THE BIBLE'S

THE U.N.'s analysis and solution from the Milleneum Summit 2000:

TENETS OF THE U.N. TO BRING ABOUT WORLD PEACE:

  1. UNITY IN DIVERSITY. This is the new standard for global solidarity.
  2. ESTABLISH A SOCIALISTIC WELFARE SYSTEM AND ECONOMIC EQUALITY under the banner of 'saving the environment'
  3. Our world is plagued by violence, war and destruction, which are SOMETIMES PERPETRATED IN THE NAME OF RELIGION...
  4. Whereas no individual, group or nation can any longer live as an isolated microcosm in our INTERDEPENDENT world...
  5. Whereas there can be no real peace until all groups and communities acknowledge the cultural and RELIGIOUS DIVERSITY of the human family in a spirit of mutual respect and understanding...(in other words, don't evangelize)
  6. All men should collaborate with the U.N. ....regionally and globally in the pursuit of peace...
  7. No individual...can any longer live as an ISOLATED microcosm in our INTERDEPENDENT world. We MUST IDENTIFY LONERS AS POTENTIAL CRIMINALS.
  8. The U.N. DEMANDS solidarity. To achieve this THERE MUST BE A NEW SET OF VALUES, A NEW ETHIC AND BELIEFS..before the utopian dream can be reached for the GLOBAL COMMUNITY. (A new set of ethics? What they are saying is ethics that replace the Bible's ethics)
  9. ABSOLUTE TRUTH AND POLITICAL DISSENT ARE UNACCEPTABLE. (This would mean: politically one would not be allowed to disagree; and also that belief that the Bible is infallible is unacceptable).
  10. The U.N. encourages CORE VALUES, A GLOBAL ETHIC for the global neighborhood.
  11. Their must be a sense of COMMON RESPONSIBILITY.
  12. We must be a more INCLUSIVE society.
  13. Article 29 "RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS MAY IN NO CASE BE EXERCISED contrary to the purposes and principles of the U.N.
  14. Economic violence includes "UNEQUAL DISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH". (Any way one looks at this the U.N. is advocating socialism or Communism.
  15. The U.N. says SEXUAL VIOLENCES includes compulsory heterosexuality.

UNESCO ON RELIGIONS ROLE IN THE CULTURE OF PEACE

UNESCO is the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organication

UNESCO'S GUIDELINES FOR RELIGION

  1. ...We are INTERDEPENDENT and share an inescapable responsibility for the well-being of the entire world.
  2. (3.) "We face a crisis which could bring about the suicide of the human species or bring us to a new awakening and a new hope. We know that religion...has an indispensable role to play...
  3. (6) Religions have...led to division, hatred, and war. Religious people have too often betrayed the high ideals they themselves have preached.
  4. (8) Peace entails that we understand that we are all INTERDEPENDENT...collectively responsible for the common good.
  5. (11) We must cultivate a spirituality which manifests itself in action...
  6. (13) We commit ourselves to...assure a truly humane education for all. We emphasize education for peace, freedom, and human rights, and religious education to promote ONENESS and tolerance.
  7. Our communities of faith have a responsibility to encourage conduct imbued with wisdom, compassion, sharing, charity, solidarity, and love; inspiring one and all to choose the path of freedom and responsibility. RELIGIONS must be a source of helpful energy.
  8. (20) ...We should distinguish fanaticism from religious zeal. (RELIGIOUS FANATICISM would be defined as anything that would disagree with the U.N.).
  9. (21) We will favor peace by countering tendencies of individuals and communities to assume or even to teach that they are inherently superior to others... (In other words, it is wrong to say that the Bible is the only Word of God and that Jesus is the only savior)
  10. We will promote dialogue and harmony between and within religions...RESPECTING THE SEARCH FOR TRUTH and WISDOM THAT IS OUTSIDE... (In other words, one can find truth outside the Bible)
  11. We call upon the different religious and cultural traditions to join hands...and to cooperate with us.

Here is the UN's and NEW AGERS stand on what causes war:

1. Poverty
2. Lack of Education
3. Religious conflict
4. Low self-esteem
5. Not taking care of the environment.
Is this true?

These things can contribute to war, but they are not the main cause.
  1. POVERTY: The reality is that there are wealthy people who are violent and militant. The difference is the rich fight with lawyers or use the poor to do their fighting and dying for them. Many wealthy people are corrupt, using their position of wealth to get unfair advantage over the poor.
  2. LACK OF EDUCATION: Educated people can be just as evil as the uneducated. Give a thief who steals a loaf of bread an education and he will steal the bread company. Much public education is primarily the state's atheistic indoctrination. This is where basic morality and faith in God is systematically broken down.
  3. RELIGIOUS CONFLICT: True Bible believing Christians are not violent, militant people. Carnal Christians; many Muslims and Hindus as well as many atheists are violent. It is not fair to classify true Bible believing Christianity will all religions. True Christians are not weak, but they are peaceful, law abiding citizens. Just because they believe there is an exclusive Savior, Jesus Christ, does not make them an obstruction to peace. Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Speech are basic rights that are systematically being taken away. This is being done in the name of peace.
  4. LOW SELF-ESTEEM: The reality is that those who are evil shouldn't have a high esteem. They should feel bad about their evil immoral lifestyles.

WHAT CAUSES WAR?

HERE IS THE U.N.'S AND NEW AGE'S SOLUTION TO BRING ABOUT WORLD PEACE:

SECULARIZE THE WORLD. Eventually get rid of religion and the belief in God.

SEXUALITY: Sexual activity outside marriage should be accepted as normal and healthy. Homosexuality should be accepted as normal as heterosexuality.

POPULATION CONTROL: Abortion should be an essential element for population control., similar to Communist China.

RELIGION: No religion should be allowed to claim to have an exclusive savior. After all we all serve the same God.

The U.N.'s ideology follows the philosophy of the atheistic book "The God Delusion". This book uses the advertisement, "Just imagine a world where there are no crusades, no religion. Just imagine." Any way this is looked at, this book is promoting the philosophy of atheistic Communism.

ECONOMICS: The U.N.'s idea for bringing about world peace is to follow Karl Marx's concept of socialism, which espouses the equal distribution of wealth to all and the end of class distinction. This would also effectively do away with individualism and capitalism.

SPEECH: No one would be allowed to speak anything contrary to the U.N.'s philosophy. This would be considered obstructing world peace. Everyone would be required to speak the same ideology.

TOLERANCE is their theme, but the reality is that they are tolerant of every religion and philosophy

The new politically correct Christianity dovetails with the U.N.'s New Spirituality which is a mixture of the Eastern and Western religions with secularism. It totally opposes anyone saying say that Jesus is the only way to heaven or preaching against sin or about hell. The U.N. wants the world being totally secular. It envisions a godless society. INTERFAITH: The U.N. calls for Interfaith Prayer meetings and gatherings; but the question is, why are they interested in religion at all seeing the U.N. is an atheistic organization. UNESCO's whole purpose to promote interfaith meetings is to neutralize all religions, because they have asserted that religion is the main cause of war.

ASSIMILATION: The U.N.'s plan to bring about world peace is to absorb all races, cultures, philosophies and religions into one integrated society of people.

ONE WORLD: Bring everything into oneness, universalism, globalism, one world. ONENESS is their objective.

STOPPING CONFLICT: The U.N. believes that a world without biblical type moral restraints and is totally secular, will help bring world peace.

THEIR PHILOSOPHY: Humanism, man is a god and is his own savior. The U.N.'s philosophy is New Age, 'GOD IS IN EVERY ONE AND IN EVERYTHING'.

CENTRALIZATION: The U.N. believes that government, financial centers, the market place, military, human services, medical services, must be centralized to equally provide for all global citizens GUN CONTROL must be enacted to control local militias and to make sure that no one or nation will be able to resist their plans of global dominance.

CONSENSUS: They are calling for a global democracy. The truth about the type of democracy they are talking about would be the type of democracy they want is just a simple consensus of the majority. The minority would have no voice and no rights. Their only choice would be to comply with the will of the majority. There would be no recourse.

ETHICS: The U.N., the state will be the final authority of determining what is right and wrong. In practicality, they believe we must get rid of Bible and faith in Christ before there can truly be world peace.

INTERNATIONAL LAW: They want international law to be the final authority which would operate with the World Court which is run by the secularists. This would be the final court of appeal for all nations.

THE U.N.'s ATTITUDE TOWARDS CHRISTIANITY. The U.N. is adversarial to the Bible, and classifies Christianity as just another religion.

THE BIBLE'S PEACE PLAN

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY IS THE CAUSE OF WAR?

James 4:1-2 "From WHENCE COME WARS AND FIGHTINGS among you? Come they not hence, even of YOUR LUSTS THAT WAR IN YOUR MEMBERS? YE LUST, AND HAVE NOT: YE KILL, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: YE FIGHT AND WAR , yet ye have not, because ye ask not." KJV


*IN OTHER WORDS, WAR IS CAUSED BY COVETING WHAT BELONGS TO ANOTHER PERSON OR NATION, AND ATTEMPTING TO STEAL IT BY FORCE; i.e.: World War II, Germany and Japan tried to conquer other nations to gain more land and to enhance themselves financially. Every war that is initiated is fought basically for this same reason. This is true on an individual level, too.

SIN IS THE CAUSE OF THE WAR between nations and individuals!

SIN IS BREAKING GOD'S LAW which is basically THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.

LOOK AT THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. They were written on stone by THE FINGER OF GOD HIMSELF.

Exodus 20:3 "THOU SHALT NOT...

STEAL; MAKE GRAVEN IMAGES; HAVE OTHER GODS; KILL; COMMIT ADULTERY; DISHONOR YOUR PARENTS; COVET YOUR NEIGHBORS WIFE, COWS OR HOUSES; BEAR FALSE WITNESS (LYING)

*IF PEOPLE WOULD KEEP THESE COMMANDMENTS THERE WOULD BE WORLD PEACE!

God commands in the Ten Commandments, "THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME", but our universities, governments and the U.N. promote exactly the opposite to bring about a politically correct world.

THE NEW TESTAMENT IS ALSO DEFINITIVE ABOUT WHAT SIN IS. Jesus reaffirmed the TEN Commandments, and the N.T. even expounds on them further:


Gal 5:19-21 "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

Rev 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." KJV

SOME PREACHERS ARE TEACHING THAT THE TEN COMMANDMENTS HAVE BEEN DONE AWAY WITH. THAT IS NOT SCRIPTURAL! THEY HAVE DEFIED THE WORD OF GOD AND THEIR REVELATION IS NOT FROM GOD BUT IS DEMONIC!

1 John 2:4 "HE THAT SAITH, I KNOW HIM, AND KEEPETH NOT HIS COMMANDMENTS, IS A LIAR , and the truth is not in him." KJV.

HYPOCRITES: Many professing Christians and preachers live sinful lives and are no different from "non-Christians". They are Christian in name only. These are not truly Christians but are what Jesus called, 'hypocrites'. Secularists and those of other religions, unjustifiably classify all Christians as hypocrites. That is not true! There are true Christians as well. Rev. 17 refers to these hypocrite carnal Christians as the Whore Church. These 'Christians' and 'Christian' leaders in reality are not really Christians themselves. They preach parts of the Bible but ignore much of it. They really don't believe the Bible is the infallible or the Word of God. They use Christianity to promote their own hidden agenda and their own personal belief system. This has defiled Christianity and has greatly damaged its credibility. What better strategy could Satan have of neutralizing Christianity?

A SIN CULTURE

The culture of most practically all societies is a sin culture. This sin culture is fostered by public education, the entertainment industry, business and the New Age. This culture is centered around 'the works of the flesh' that the Bible warns will bring you to an early death. The by product of this sin culture is strife, family problems, divorce, poverty, thievery, war and every ill of society. The world wants to rid itself of war, but wants to hold on to its sinful lifestyle it loves at the same time. On one side it is calling for world peace, but on the other side it is promoting and glorifying the very thing that is destroying peace. It is counterproductive. This approach to peace is unworkable and will never last!

It has been observed that culture is the most powerful influence on most people's lives, even above their own family's values and their religion. Culture trumps everything. The reason is that everyone wants to be accepted and be popular. Everyone else who lives outside the 'sin culture' is labeled out of step and considered misfits and oddballs. Money, power, fame and pleasure are the main engines behind most people's activities. Most are willing to exchange their souls for these. When the 'sin culture' is the foundation for wealth, success and popularity, now all rules are off. That is why chaos reigns.

THE RATIONAL CONCLUSION:

THE BIBLE TALKS ABOUT DEMONIACS AND DEMON POSSESSION.

Educated unbelievers mock at this. How else could you explain the irrational wholesale murder and sadism of beast like people such as Hitler, Khomeni, Charles Manson, suicide bombers, child molesters and mass murderers? These maniacal people did not become so brutal because they were poor or illiterate. They were that way because they were sinners and demoniacs. They refused to believe the Bible or subject themselves to God's Commandments.

THE KEY TO WORLD PEACE

On an international level, one can have a peace conference every month, but until peace comes into the hearts of individuals and people get right with God, there will never be world peace. It is a pipe dream.

The U.N. is promoting DEVELOPMENT which in itself is a good thing. But remember, the Egyptians, Aztecs, Babylonians, and Romans were considered civilized because of their development, yet they were brutal, sadistic, violent, immoral, depraved and warlike pagans. Development did not stop wars in those societies. The NEW SPIRITUALITY society is promoting leaves a void in the heart of men because it is and of the Bible and Jesus Christ. War comes from wickedness in the heart of men.

Breaking God's Commandments is the root cause of war which has brought so much horror, misery and death on mankind. The sin of not believing the Bible, God's Word, is why people continue sinning and fighting. Christianity as a whole has no moral impact on society today because their politically correct preachers refuse to preach against sin. Because of this, much blood will be on their hands at the Day of Judgment.

The PEACE PLANS OF THE U.N., THE NEW AGE AND RICK WARREN ARE VIRTUALLY IDENTICAL. None of them mention or even infer that SIN IS THE ROOT CAUSE OF WAR.

WAR IS IN THE HEART OF SINFUL MEN AND WOMEN

DOMESTIC PROBLEMS: War doesn't just happen on an international level. There is war in the home ; centered and motivated by the lusts of the flesh.

CRIMINAL ACTIVITY: The lust to have things they can't afford so they fight, steal and kill.

GANGS are mostly made up along racial or tribal lines. Strife, thievery and murder among gangs are caused by turf wars. They are spawned by racism, tribalism, pride and a lust for dominating power and control.

Jer 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked : who can know it?" KJV

1 John 5:19 "...the whole world lieth in wickedness ." KJV

RATIONALIZING SIN: The wicked go to great lengths to justify their behavior. One means of doing this on a societal level is the teaching of EVOLUTION in the educational systems. The product of this is that since man is nothing more than an animal, nothing is wrong. There are 'no boundaries'; therefore, we are not accountable to God or anyone for our behavior. This has created a lawless mentality and is what has produced the irrational and insane behavior we are seeing among so many of our citizens. This is a direct result of THE SECULARIZATION OF AMERICA AND THE WORLD.

The Bible says in 2 Cor. 4:4 "The god of this world hath blinded their eyes." "

Prov 14:12 "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." KJV

2 Tim 3:7 "Ever learning , and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." KJV

THE MORE A NATION GETS STEEPED INTO SIN AND REJECTS CHRIST AND THE BIBLE, THE CLOSER IT MOVES TOWARDS INEVITABLE WAR AND DESTRUCTION.

Ps 9:17 "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God" KJV

SIN IS THE CAUSE OF WAR, AND UNTIL MEN GET RIGHT WITH JESUS CHRIST, AND TURN FROM LIVES OF SIN, WE WILL KEEP HAVING WARS. THE U.N. DOES NOT THE ANSWER. JESUS AND THE BIBLE ARE THE ONLY ANSWER!

The reality is that where the Gospel of Jesus Christ has not come the people are ruthless, brutal and immoral pagans. Where true Christianity has been corrupted and the Bible ignored, these so called 'Christians' are no different than non-Christians. They are just as immoral, brutal and ruthless.

THE ANSWER

The answer is found in John 3:3 Jesus said, "YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN".

Only Jesus can change a person's nature and change him from being a hopeless sinner into becoming a godly child of God, acceptable to Him. ONLY JESUS CAN GIVE YOU PEACE OF MIND. ONLY JESUS CAN CHANGE A DESTITUTE DRUNKARD AND MAKE HIM A SOLID CITIZEN. ONLY JESUS CAN CHANGE A DRUG ADDICT AND MAKE HIM REALLY FREE. ONLY JESUS CAN CHANGE A THIEF AND MAKE HIM EARN AN HONEST LIVING. ONLY JESUS CAN CHANGE A PROSTITUTE AND MAKE HER AN UPRIGHT RESPECTABLE CLEAN WOMAN. IT IS A LIE THAT MAN CAN SAVE HIMSELF WITHOUT CHRIST! IT IS A LIE THAT ALL RELIGIONS ARE THE SAME!

Corrupt Christianity that has been changed by corrupt preachers is not the answer for the world, it is a major part of the problem. Jesus and the Bible alone are the answers. Without Jesus changing the heart of the individual, there will never be world peace. Jesus alone is the Prince of Peace. World peace starts with YOU getting right with Him, reading the Bible and obeying His commandments.

HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN:

Rom 10:9-10 "THAT IF THOU SHALT CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH THE LORD JESUS, AND SHALT BELIEVE IN THINE HEART THAT GOD HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, THOU SHALT BE SAVED. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." KJV
