RHEMA WORD OR “LOGOS”,  THE BIBLE

If I was the devil I would dumb down Christians and seduce them to trust religious authorities and church traditions above the Bible.  I would exploit the Biblical truth of “revelation”, and by using this I would pervert and twist the scriptures until my ideologies, symbols, and practices could not be easily discerned from Christian ones.  It would take a deep and broad knowledge of the Bible and history to detect this deception.

REVELATION

1 Corinthians 14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

LED BY THE SPIRIT:

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Being led by the Spirit of God is very important:  i.e.:  Joseph had a dream to take Mary and baby Jesus and flee into Egypt.

Jesus told Nicodemus

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

CONFUSION ABOUT BEING LED BY THE SPIRIT:

Taught in faith movement that to be led by the spirit means a born again person is to be led by the HUMAN SPIRIT.

Human spirit and our heart is the same thing.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

1 Corinthians 14:10 There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.

There is the voice of THE HOLY SPIRIT, SATAN-lying spirits 2 Chron 18:22, YOUR SPIRIT (sourlish man), AND the voice of YOUR FLESH.

The problem is Satan comes as an ANGEL OF LIGHT, 2 Cor 11:14

MY EXP.:  I had a problem and was seriously praying what should I do?  I heard a strong voice in my spirit giving me direction.  It’s what I wanted.  I did it and was nearly destroyed.  It wasn’t the Holy Spirit that deceived me, it was Satan who disguised himself as an angel of light and presented himself as the Lord.

VOICE OF OUR FLESH:

In church, a young man sees a beautiful young woman.  Feel chills down his spine.  That’s the H.S.  No, don’t even know her.  She might even be a prostitute. Most can’t tell the difference between the Holy Spirit and hormones.

God told me to leave my husband or wife and marry another.  That was not the Spirit of God.  The Holy Spirit  is the Spirit of truth and He will never tell you to do something contrary to the commandments of God.

Rhema word is revelation knowledge. 

We know from the scriptures that revelation knowledge exists.  A problem has arisen here, in that some esteem revelation or RHEMA WORD ABOVE “LOGOS”,THE WRITTEN WORD OF GOD, THE BIBLE. That is why there are so many different doctrines. 

Rhema or revelation word is not superior to “logos”.  Neither is it equal with the “logos”.  Rhema word is NOT SCRIPTURE.  The “logos” is scripture.  Rhema word is supplemental to “logos” and subject to it, not the other way around.  If one follows Rhema word and not the Bible, in the name of revelation anything can be taught.  Rhema word is not the final authority of the faith, the Bible is! There are those who talk about “The Word.” In reality, if you listen to them carefully, they are not talking about the Bible as the Word, but about the rhema word. They justify this by misapplying the truths of…

*Romans 10:8 “But what saith it? THE WORD is nigh thee, EVEN IN THY MOUTH, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach”. 

Most who promot rhema word attack the King James Version of the Bible. They use many translations of the Bible in their teaching.  It is essential for them to do this, to break the authority of the “logos”, the written Word of God, the Bible, before they can make the
written Word of God, the Bible, inferior to rhema Word.  With this done, they act as if THE  WORD IN THEIR MOUTH, rhema, is given of divine inspiration of God and now supercedes the Bible as infallible scripture. This makes every preacher who claims he has a rhema word, the final authority of the faith, and not the Bible.  This in effect, would make every man a “little” god, and everyone who claims to have a rhema word, to be speaking THE WORD OF GOD.  No wonder there is so much confusion in Christianity especially in the Spirit filled ranks.

*2 Peter 1:20 “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation (or private revelation).”

*Romans 10:8 referring to “THE WORD OF FAITH”,  is actually referring to SALVATION. 

*Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man BELIEVETH unto righteousness; and WITH THE MOUTH CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION.” Look at the next two scriptures.

The FAITH MOVEMENT LEADERS TEACH THAT WE ARE NOT TO FOLLOW REASON, WE ARE TO FOLLOW OUR HUMAN SPIRIT AND REVELATION OR RHEMA WORD.

THEY TEACH REASON, using our SENSES IS A WORK OF THE FLESH.

That is absolutely not true! 

Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

they Say god told me…how can you argue with someone who says god told me?

GOD TOLD ME…

…who you are to marry

…where you are to live

…if you sow this big of a seed, you will be a millionaire

They say faith doesn’t come by our senses, but by our spirit.

That’s not true!

THEY SAY CHRISTIANS ARE NOT TO HAVE GOOD SENSE in the name of being led by the spirit.

NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH.  THAT’S WHY SPIRIT FILLED CHRISTIANS ARE SO EASILY DESTROYED AND MAKE STUPID MISTAKES.  IT’S NOT A SIN TO USE YOUR MIND, TO THINK.

You don’t walk across the street just being led by the spirit, you use your senses and look both ways.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Hebrews 5:14

ut strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

These preachers teaching you to just follow the Holy Spirit and not think are setting you up to con you and ravage you financially.

2 Thessalonians 3:2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men:

2 Timothy 3:6-7

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

UNDERSTANDING

In the Faith Movement the leaders teach you don’t have to understand.  What does the Bible say..

Proverbs 2:2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;T

FLYING A PLANE, I DON’T DO IT BY THE SPIRIT, I DO IT BY USING MY SENSES

Take tests in schools not by the spirit, but by studying.  God can help  you, but there is something you have to do in the natural, too.

Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

Proverbs 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

THEY SAY FAITH COMES BY THE SPIRIT AND NOT OUR SENSES.

That is not true!

Faith comes by HEARING.  Hearing is one of our natural senses.  Faith comes by reading God’s Word.  Seeing is one of our natural senses.

They often act as if their rhema is superior to the Bible, because often it disagrees with the Bible.  They like to say, ‘What is the Spirit saying?”  The Spirit is bringing to your remembrance Christ’s words.

 

THIS IS A CALL TO RETURN TO THE SIMPLICITY OF THE BIBLE.  WE MUST HONOR THE BIBLE AS GOD’S UNCHANGING INFALLIBLE WORD and the final authority of our faith, BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT IT IS.  Otherwise, you are just making up your own religion, and using Christ’s name as a cover. 

*Matthew 6:2-5 we are warned to BEWARE OF THE DOCTRINES OF THE PHARISEES. 

*Matthew 7:28  says that the religious leaders “WERE ASTONISHED AT HIS (JESUS’) DOCTRINE.”

*2 John 1:9 is one of the most profound scriptures in the Bible.  It says, “Whoso transgresseth, and abideth NOT IN THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST (which is found in the Bible), HATH NOT GOD.”

You cannot have God and not have His doctrine. 

 

*Mark 7:6-7 says, “this people HONORETH ME WITH THEIR LIPS, BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR FROM ME. Howbeit IN VAIN THEY WORSHIP ME TEACHING THE COMMANDMENTS OF MEN FOR THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD.”

HOW CAN ANYONE DARE CALL THEMSELVES A CHRISTIAN AND DENY ANY OF GOD’S WORD?

 This is why Christians are so easily deceived.  They are looking to see what the spirit is saying; what some prophet with a rhema word is saying instead of reading the Bible for yourself.

*Revelation 2:9 “I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I KNOW THE BLASPHEMY OF THEM which say they are Jews, and are not, but ARE THE SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN”.

*Revelation 3:9 “Behold, I will make THEM OF THE SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN, which SAY THEY ARE JEWS, AND ARE NOT, BUT DO LIE”

*Revelation 18:23  SATAN IS CALLED “THE GREAT DECEIVER”.

 

SATAN’S SEAT

 

*Revelation 2:13 “I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even WHERE SATAN’S SEAT IS”

Unfortunately, SATAN HAS SLIPPED INTO CHRISTIANITY and SET UP HIS SEAT RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF PROFESSING CHRISTIANITY. 

*Revelation 12:9 “...and Satan, which DECEIVETH  the WHOLE WORLD.”

*Matthew 16:12 “Then UNDERSTOOD how that he bade them not BEWARE of the leaven of bread, BUT OF THE DOCTRINE OF THE PHARISEES AND OF THE SADDUCEES.” 

*I Corinthians 5:6-8 “...Know ye not that A LITTLE LEAVEN LEAVENETH THE WHOLE LUMP?   PURGE OUT THEREFORE THE OLD LEAVEN, that YE MAY BE A NEW LUMP, AS YE ARE UNLEAVENED.  For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, NOT with OLD LEAVEN, neither with the LEAVEN OF MALICE AND WICKEDNESS; but with THE UNLEAVENED BREAD OF SINCERITY AND TRUTH.”

A little false teaching and false doctrine corrupts the whole Gospel.

 

In the Old Testament, BAAL WORSHIP  was very recognizable.  Today it is mainly covert having taken on different names, faces, and terminology’s.  The DOCTRINES OF BAAL HAVE DISCRETELY  INTEGRATED INTO THE TEMPLE OF THE LORD  IN THE NAME OF CHURCH  TRADITION  and new REVELATION.
