PERVERTING THE MESSAGE OF ‘THE KINGDOM’

Copyright 2012 Loren Davis

Hardly anything has been twisted and perverted more than the Bible’s teachings about ‘THE KINGDOM OF GOD’ AND ‘THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN’. This is done in the name of ‘KINGDOM’ teachings. This article covers an array of teachings that come under the umbrella of ‘the Kingdom of God’, ‘the Kingdom of heaven’ and shows how it is being misused.

We hear about: KINGDOM BUSINESS, KINGDOM FAITH, KINGDOM AUTHORITY, KINGDOM CONNECTIONS, KINGDOM RELATIONSHIPS, KINGDOM MENTALITY, KINGDOM VALUES, KINGDOM EXPANSION, KINGDOM PRINCIPLES, KINGDOM SERVICE, KINGDOM PEOPLE, KINGDOM NOW, etc. The Bible does not refer to ‘THE KINGDOM’ in this manner.

Most of these teachings about ‘the kingdom’ originates from teachings of the Faith Movement from the concept that believers should ‘subdue the earth’.

KINGDOM PREACHERS DEFINE ‘THE KINGDOM’ TO BE ON THE EARTH RIGHT NOW.
It’s hard not to notice that money is the main thing ‘kingdom’ preachers talk about. There is no debate that the Bible has many promises of how God desires to bless His people in this life; ie: Deuteronomy. 28, but these ‘kingdom’ preachers have gone way beyond God ‘supplying all our needs’, Philippians 4:19, and have pushed the envelope to preach that ‘God wants us all to be rich’. They preach a ‘THIS WORLD’ gospel and prey on the poor and greedy.

One of the favorite scriptures they use is…
2 Chronicles 20:20 “believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” KJV

Most ‘kingdom’ preachers CALL THEMSELVES PROPHETS and many of them threaten curses if you don’t obey them, particularly in relationship to giving to them. They literally intimidate people to give to them and also promise lottery type returns that the Bible never promises. (For more information hear the Loren Davis Internet Radio: program: ‘Prosperity Preachers are Ruining Christianity’ www.combineharvesting.com; and the article: ‘The Gospel of Greed’).

The ‘Kingdom preachers emphasize that we as believers are KINGS AND PRIESTS.
They use the scripture, Revelation 5:10 “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
‘Kingdom’ preachers take this scripture and teach that we should be rich and live like kings in ‘this life’. They are misapplying Rev 5:10. This scripture is referring to the saints of God ruling and reigning with Christ as kings and priests during His Millennial reign on earth, but we will be under Him because Jesus is the King of Kings. Rev 5:10 is not talking about now.

KINGDOM PREACHERS PERVERT THE SCRIPTURES THAT TALK ABOUT SALVATION TO TEACH ABOUT MONEY AND GETTING RICH.

Examples:
A. THE ABUNDANT LIFE
‘Kingdom preachers’ particularly focus on preaching about ‘the abundant life’. THE BIBLE DOES NOT SAY THAT JESUS CAME TO GIVE US ‘ABUNDANT LIFE’. IT SAYS TO GIVE US ‘LIFE….MORE ABUNDANTLY’. THE ‘ABUNDANT LIFE’ TEACHING TWISTS AND PERVERTS JOHN 10:10. THEY USE THIS SCRIPTURE to teach in essence that Jesus came that we all might be AFFLUENT AND WEALTHY.

Here is what the scriptures actually say about this…
John 10:10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have LIFE, and that they might have it MORE ABUNDANTLY.” KJV
JESUS NEVER SAID HE CAME TO GIVE US ‘THE ABUNDANT LIFE’. The scripture says “He came that we would have ‘LIFE’, and have it MORE ABUNDANTLY.”

There is more to ‘having life more abundantly’ than having a lot of money. Without health, a good marriage, family, peace, and being right with God is having ‘life…' all the money in the world is not going to give you ‘the good life’. Having ‘life more abundantly’ is being well and whole in every area of your life, particularly spiritually.

Although Jesus taught how He would help us in ‘this life’, His primary message was about spiritual and eternal things.
John 10:10 which talks about having ‘LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY’ is just a continuation of John 10:9 which is talking about salvation. John 10:9 Jesus said, “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, HE SHALL BE SAVED,” KJV
Psalms 103:2-3 “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;” KJV

Most ‘Kingdom’ preachers seldom if ever preach about salvation; keeping God’s commandments or about heaven and where you will spend eternity. They are using the name of Jesus to stir up the spirit of greed which the Bible teaches against. These ‘kingdom’ preachers don’t preach about ‘taking up your cross and following Christ’, but stir up covetousness which the Bible teaches against, Exodus. 20:17 . The Bible warns against those who try to get rich quickly. This ‘get rich quick’ gospel makes God’s people vulnerable to con artists. The deadly thing about this is that it is done in the name of ‘faith’ and in the name of Jesus.

Lk 12:15 “Take heed and BEWARE OF COVETOUSNESS: for a man’s life consisteth not in the ABUNDANCE of things which he possesseth.”
Col 2:5 says that covetousness is idolatry.

B. I HAVE HEARD ‘KINGDOM’ PREACHERS SPIN MATTHEW 7:14.
Matt 7:14 “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” KJV
Some ‘kingdom’ preachers spin this scripture to say that this scripture is not talking about salvation and going to heaven. They say what this really means is… ‘NARROW IS THE WAY’ TO THE ‘ABUNDANT LIFE’ OR RICHES and few find it. This is totally opposite of what Jesus was talking about. He was saying ‘narrow is the way’ to salvation and heaven and few find it.

C. Perverting the Kingdom. John 3:3 says, “Except a man be born again he will not enter THE KINGDOM OF GOD”.

The way the Word of God is being spun by the ‘kingdom’ preachers, in essence, would make being ‘born again’ to is literally the gateway to enter into the ‘abundant life’ or riches. The god of many ‘kingdom’ preachers is money. You know that is true because that is what they preach about the most.

This scripture about ‘the kingdom of God’ here is talking about salvation and going to heaven. He is talking about His spiritual kingdom which He sets up in the hearts of men.

D. THE WORKS OF THE FLESH and THE ABUNDANT LIFE
Gal 5:19-21 “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in ime past, that they which do such things SHALL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.” KJV

Many ‘Kingdom’ preachers say these scriptures do not mean that people who do these works of the flesh will not go to heaven, they imply that it means they will not enter into the ABUNDANT LIFE. If you will notice, the Kingdom preachers don’t preach against sin. They imply ‘eternal security’ whether they openly declare it or not.

E. THE THIEF ON THE CROSS
When the thief on the cross said to Jesus, “Remember me when you enter into your kingdom” and Jesus answered him, “This day will you be with me in Paradise”, Lk 23:43…Jesus was talking about him going to Paradise, His eternal kingdom, NOT that THIS DAY you will have the abundant life on earth.

F. SEED FAITH
There are some good scriptures about ‘sowing and reaping’ related to giving, but most ‘kingdom’ preachers have misappropriated scriptures which talk about ‘sowing the Word of God’ and pervert them to teach ‘sowing money’.

Galations 6:7-8 is a good example of this. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for WHATSOEVER A MAN SOWETH, THAT SHALL HE ALSO REAP.”
‘Kingdom’ preachers use this scripture teaching ‘sowing and reaping’ for taking offerings. This scripture has nothing to do with money or giving an offering. The rest of these scriptures say… “For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit REAP LIFE EVERLASTING.This scripture is talking about salvation. They never use this scripture to preach salvation. This is gross abuse of God’s Word.

G. THE 100 FOLD RETURN
MANY ‘KINGDOM’ PREACHERS USE MARK 4:8 TO TEACH ‘THE 30 FOLD, 60 FOLD, 100 FOLD RETURN. These scriptures have nothing to do with money or an offering.
Mark 4:14 “The sower SOWETH THE WORD.” KJV
This whole parable is about preaching the WORD of God and is about SALVATION and one’s spiritual development.

*Malachi. 3:8-12 and Deuteronomy 28:18 are some of the accurate teachings about being blessed that are connected with giving)

THE PARABLE OF THE SOWER
Luke 8:10 ‘Unto YOU IT IS GIVEN TO KNOW THE MYSTERY OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD
V. 11 Now the parable is this: THE SEED IS THE WORD OF GOD (NOT MONEY!)
The WORD IS SOWN by the WAYSIDE; on ROCKS, on THORNS, and on GOOD GROUND:”

This parable of the ‘sower’ talking of SALVATION.

Luke 6:14 THE WORD IS CHOKED WITH CARES AND RICHES AND PLEASURES OF ‘THIS LIFE’.”
Prosperity preachers
are the ones sowing seeds of greed and their message is taking appealing to the THORNS.

MOST ‘KINGDOM’ PREACHERS PRIMARY PURPOSE FOR BEING IN THE MINISTRY IS JUST FOR THE MONEY.
*Pastors should be well cared for. Mal. 3:10 teaches we should tithe.
1 Tim 5:17-18 “Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.” KJV

But the Bible also says in Luke 20:46-21:1 “BEWARE OF THE SCRIBES, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts; which DEVOUR WIDOWS' HOUSES, and for a shew make long prayers: THE SAME SHALL RECEIVE GREATER DAMNATION.” KJV

FOR MOST KINGDOM PREACHERS, THE GOSPEL IS JUST A BUSINESS TO THEM. They are masters at manipulating the Word for their own benefit. These ‘kingdom’ preachers have learned to be crafty with the Word of God and learned how to pervert and misuse the scriptures to seduce the saints to get them to give them great sums of money by promising lottery type returns. They then use this money to make themselves rich and live opulent lives like kings. What is so seducing about this is that they are doing this in the name of Jesus and are misusing the Bible to con God’s people. These ‘kingdom’ preachers are literally the modern day ‘money changers’ that Jesus drove out of the Temple while He was on earth. This practice is corrupting God’s people by seducing them to give for the purpose of getting rich quick, instead of giving to win the world to Christ and teach godly living. This has diverted funds away from winning the lost and is causing multitudes to perish without Christ.

This has motivated many who attend these ‘kingdom’ churches to go deeply into debt in order to put up a good ‘faith face’ to show their ‘faith peers’ that they are prosperous and ‘have big faith’. This is hypocrisy and has ruined many lives! The biggest kiss of death for those who attend ‘kingdom’ churches is to be poor, that is not living the ‘abundant life’; i.e.: wearing an inexpensive suit or dress; driving an older economy car; nor eating in the most expensive restaurants or not living in an upscale neighborhood.

H. KINGDOM FAITH
Where in the Bible does it refer to ‘kingdom faith’. Kingdom teachers spin Mark 11:22-24 , “HAVE FAITH IN GOD…
”,They state it should or could have been translated to ‘have the Faith of God’ or ‘the God kind of faith’. (See the article and listen to Loren Davis Internet Radio program: ‘New Age Faith is Replacing Bible Faith www.combineharvesting.com) This change of phrasing replaces the object of our faith, God.

I. KINGDOM AUTHORITY
One of the key scriptures they use to teach ‘Kingdom Authority’ is Gen 1:28
“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and SUBDUE IT: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” KJV

They use this scripture also to go into their teach the ‘Abundant Life’ and that ‘man is a god’. (See the article ‘The teaching Man is a god’ www.combineharvesting.com)

Some Kingdom preachers preach that Jesus’ teachings about THE SHEEPFOLD, Jn 10:1-8, is talking about MAN’S AUTHORITY ON EARTH, which translates into man’s power and riches. They say that it is illegal for God to do anything on earth without a man who was born on earth and is alive now to gives Him permission. Therefore, since Jesus is no longer on the earth, they teach that these scriptures ‘Sheepfold’ scriptures teach that God can do nothing on earth without man’s permission. This is a complete distortion of these scriptures. Look at what the scriptures actually say…

John 10:7-9 “Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I AM THE DOOR of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, HE SHALL BE SAVED,” KJV

The sheepfold teaching Jesus is giving, Jesus is clearly explaining that HE IS THE ONLY WAY FOR SALVATION. JESUS IS ‘THE DOOR’. Anyone who tries to enter heaven outside of him is a thief and a robber. This scripture is talking about salvation, not man’s authority.

WHAT DID JESUS SAY ABOUT SEEKING TO LIVE THE OPULENT LIFE?
Luke. 7:25-26 “Jesus said, What went ye out for to see? A MAN CLOTHED IN SOFT RAIMENT? Behold, THEY WHICH ARE GORGEOUSLY APPARELLED AND LIVE DELICATELY live in kings courts. What went ye out to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and MUCH MORE than a prophet.”

Some preachers have taken it so far as to be poor is a sin. If you are a Christian, you will be rich. They want you to measure their faith by their riche.
Psalms 17:14 …”From men which are thy hand, O Lord, from men of the world, which have their portion in THIS LIFE, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure:” KJV
In reality they are not true ministers of God, but professional clergymen who are nothing more than white collar thieves. No wonder Jesus said in Matthew 21:13, ‘My house has become a den of thieves’.

‘KINGDOM’ PREACHERS HAVE LEARNED TO PROFITEER FROM RELIGION USING THE SAME TACTICS THAT THE PAGAN RELIGIONS USE.
Acts 19:24-25 “For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which MADE SILVER SHRINES FOR DIANA; Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know brought NO SMALL GAIN unto the craftsmen that BY THIS CRAFT WE HAVE OUR WEALTH.”

THE HINDUS of India have great TEMPLES TO THE GODS OF PROSPERITY where people flock to give small and great sums of money to get favor to get rich.

THE ROMAN CHURCH takes advantage of grieving people who have lost loved ones and come to mass praying for them to get out of purgatory. They are told by the priests that the more money they give to the church, the quicker their loved ones will get out of purgatory. This is financially exploiting the grieving in the name of God. It is totally opposite everything the Bible teaches. 1 Peter 1:18-19 “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold… But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:” KJV

Galations 1:14 …Before the Apostle Paul was saved… “PROFITED IN THE JEWS' RELIGION,”
1 Timothy 3:2-3 … “A bishop then must be blameless…NOT GREEDY OF FILTHY LUCRE ; but patient, not a brawler…NOT COVETOUS;”
1 John 2:16 “For all that is in the world, THE LUST OF THE FLESH, AND THE LUST OF THE EYES, and THE PRIDE OF LIFE, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” KJV
The ‘Kingdom preachers are literally preaching ‘the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life’ in the name of Jesus.
Mark 10:24 “Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!” (heaven) KJV

F. THE HARVEST When Kingdom preachers talk about ‘the harvest’ they are not talking about winning souls to Christ, but reaping a harvest of money and wealth. This has completed perverted what Christ was saying about ‘the harvest’. He was talking about HARVESTING SOULS for salvation. This has seduced so many of God’s people to just sow, give money, to get a financial harvest instead of giving to win the lost. No wonder most of the world is going to hell.
Matt 9:37-38 “Then saith he unto his disciples, THE HARVEST truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest , that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. KJV When Jesus talked about the harvest He was in no way talking about money.

Many preachers are USING THE GOSPEL TO RACKETEER by misusing the scriptures.
Luke 8:18 “For whosoever hath, to him shall be given: and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.” Some ‘Kingdom’ preachers misuse this scripture to justify them fleecing the poor to enrich themselves. They are literally stealing from the poor and gullible and doing it in Jesus name.

One of the Ten Commandments is ‘THOU SHALT NOT TAKE THE NAME OF THE LORD THY GOD IN VAIN.” Many preachers are taking God’s name in vain by fleecing His flock in Jesus’ name.

WHAT IS THE TRUE BIBLICAL GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM?

Jesus said in THE LORD’S PRAYER, Matthew 6:10 “THY KINGDOM COME . THY WILL BE DONE IN EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.” KJV

Some Kingdom teachers teach that THE LORD’S PRAYER is not applicable today. That it is under the old covenant, the Old Testament. What blasphemy!
Jesus is ‘the King’ who came to earth to set up His kingdom in the hearts of men so mankind could be ‘born again’, and become holy and live godly lives on earth and be whole like we will be in heaven.

Matthew 4:23 “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.”
Matthew 5:3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven:”

This is opposite of the teaching of what these ‘kingdom’ preachers preach. Most of them preach a gospel of pride and arrogance. They are aloof from people, totally opposite of how Jesus was. Matthew 11:29 Jesus said, “… learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart” KJV

They hardly ever mention heaven, and if they do they redefine it to refer to ‘this life’, heaven on earth. Mk 1:14-15 Jesus came preaching THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM…saying REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL” That is what the Gospel of the Kingdom is!
Mark 1:14-15 “Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the Gospel of the kingdom. “ He was not preaching that everyone would get rich.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say that Jesus came so everyone who believed on Him should be rich in this life, but that they would not perish and have everlasting life? Jn 3:16
The Gospel of the kingdom is further spelled out in Mark 16:15-18…
Mark 16:15-18 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and PREACH THE GOSPEL to every creature. He that BELIEVETH AND IS BAPTIZED SHALL BE SAVED; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they CAST OUT DEVILS; THEY SHALL SPEAK WITH NEW TONGUES. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; THEY SHALL LAY HANDS ON THE SICK, AND THEY SHALL RECOVER.”
Matt 5:10 “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.” (See the article and hear Loren Davis Internet Radio program: ‘Redefining Righteousness’ www.lorendavis.com)

Matt 24:11-14 “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” (He is not talking about the pseudo ‘kingdom’ gospel that everyone should be rich. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is to be preached some men can receive God’s gift of Eternal Life; praying for the sick and casting out devils.
Luke 12:22-24 Jesus said, “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The LIFE IS MORE THAN MEAT, and the body is more than raiment. Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?”
Mark 14:25 “Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in THE KINGDOM OF GOD.” KJV Without a doubt He was talking about heaven.

Matt 19:23-24 “Verily I say unto you, That A RICH MAN SHALL HARDLY ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” (The kingdom of God here is referring to going to heaven, NOT getting rich.)

1 Tim 6:9-11 “But THEY THAT WILL BE RICH fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, THEY HAVE ERRED FROM THE FAITH, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O MAN OF GOD, FLEE THESE THINGS; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.” KJV

IT IS GOD’S DESIRE TO BLESS HIS PEOPLE

Deut 8:18 “But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth , that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”

The unfortunate thing is that from my observation, is that most of God’s people who are blessed do no use their funds to spread the Gospel. God needs to greatly bless His people to spread the Gospel around the world, but most of the time when He blesses His people they don’t keep their end of the bargain, but instead horde it or use it for their own fleshly lusts. The story of the rich man and Lazarus graphically illustrates this. Most store up their wealth for themselves instead of using it to spread the Gospel to the world. They can never get enough.

Of course it is not a sin to be rich if one attains riches honestly and most definitely a rich man can go to heaven if he trusts in God more than his riches, but riches are NOT the kingdom of God.
If riches were the criteria of being in the ‘kingdom of God’, then more Muslims would be in ‘the kingdom of God’ than Christians.

Matt 6:19-21 “LAY NOT UP FOR YOURSELVES TREASURES UPON EARTH, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But LAY UP FOR YOURSELVES TREASURES IN HEAVEN, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” KJV

Thank God there are some who God has blessed that have kept their end of the covenant and are using their wealth to spread the Gospel, the New Covenant, to the ends of the earth.
Matt 25:21 “Thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” KJV
Luke 12:48 “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required:” KJV

Luke 21:34 “And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of THIS LIFE, and so that day come upon you unawares.”
THE REVISIONISTS OF ‘THE KINGDOM OF GOD’, are not looking for heaven. They don’t preach about heaven or eternal life. To them, the way their teachings play out, one’s only heaven or hell will be in ‘THIS LIFE’. This is the exact thinking of the atheists. They are planning their lives like they will live forever on earth.
1 Cor 15:19 “If IN THIS LIFE ONLY we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.”

GOD PROMISES TO BLESS THOSE WHO SEEK GOD’S KINGDOM FIRST
Matt 6:33-34 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God (not money), and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. KJV
Prov 13:7 “There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.” KJV
Matt 19:29 “And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold , and shall inherit everlasting life.” KJV
Matt 6:24 “Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” KJV

PERVERTING THE BIBLE
Rom 1:25 “Who changed the truth of God into a lie,”
Jer 23:36 “…for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the Lord of hosts our God.”
Gal 1:7 “Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would PERVERT THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST.” KJV
Matt 23:26-31 Jesus said, “Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed APPEAR BEAUTIFUL OUTWARD, but are WITHIN FULL OF DEAD MEN'S BONES, AND OF ALL UNCLEANNESS. Even so ye also OUTWARDLY APPEAR RIGHTEOUS unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.”
John 6:15 “When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.” KJV

John 18:36 “Jesus answered, MY KINGDOM IS NOT OF THIS WORLD:”
Col 3:2 “Set your affections on things above, NOT on things of THE EARTH.”
Lk 17:21 “The kingdom of God IS WITHIN YOU.”
Lk 18:17 “Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter in.” This is speaking of salvation.
Col 1:13 “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son.” This is speaking of salvation.
Matt 16:26 “For what is a man profited, if he shall GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” KJV

MOST ‘KINGDOM’ PREACHERS SELDOM PREACH TO PREPARE PEOPLE FOR ETERNITY AND HEAVEN.
Their gospel is primarily a ‘this life’ gospel, and projects a latent message that man will NEVER DIE BUT LIVE FOREVER IN ‘THIS LIFE’.
James 4:14 “For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” KJV
John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am (in heaven), there ye may be also.” KJV

Matt 16:26 Jesus said, “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world , and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” KJV
